I bought SP2 as soon as it was released and to date I've  managed to read through it a few times and tested a few of the mechanisms. Suffice it to say that I'm impressed and a few months ago decided to build a couple of forces.

I thought long and hard about where to start but the choices were endless and inevitably i was distracted by other shiny things and life in general.

Eventually I came across the rules again and decided to start with the American Civil War. However rather than vanilla ACW i wanted to mix it up a bit I thought I would base it around the possible consequences of the Trent Incident. Thus I will be utilising some of my Perry Plastics pile to form the Federal element and some of their gorgeous British Intervention Forces range as the opponents.

I've painted up a few units and based them using Charlie Foxtrot bases.
